Circular Economy and Technology Innovation Summit

The primary objective of Circular Economy and Technology Innovation Summit is to raise public awareness about how circular economy and innovation provide competitive advantages for companies, institutions, entrepreneurs, and the country as a whole, thereby promoting a faster and more efficient transition to a sustainable economic model.

The first edition took place in July 2018 in Madrid, presided over by the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. It also featured prominent figures such as Pedro Sánchez (President of Spain), Iván Duque (President of Colombia), Christopher Pissarides (2010 Nobel Prize in Economics), Finn Kydland (2004 Nobel Prize in Economics), Barry Barish (2017 Nobel Prize in Physics), Ndaba Mandela (President of Africa Rising), and Dasho Karma Ura (Minister of Happiness of the Kingdom of Bhutan), among others.
